“Faith in Times of Confusion”: Pastor Miguel Núñez’s sermon that teaches you to trust God when you understand nothing

There are seasons when life makes no sense: we pray and heaven seems silent, we do what is right and things go wrong, and the question Habakkuk dared to ask God —“how long?”— becomes our own. In this sermon, Pastor Miguel Núñez walks through Habakkuk 1–3 and shows us that true faith is not born when everything is clear, but when everything is confusing. Habakkuk did not receive all the answers he asked for; he received something better: the certainty that God is still on His throne and that “the just shall live by his faith.” The message challenges us to stop demanding explanations from God and start resting in His character: He is just even when injustice seems to win, sovereign even when chaos seems to reign. And it closes with the most powerful declaration in the book: though the fig tree may not blossom and there be no fruit on the vines, “yet I will rejoice in the Lord.” A sermon for the days when faith is truly tested.

Application for today: Today, in the middle of what you don’t understand, choose to rejoice in God before you see the outcome: faith doesn’t wait to understand — it trusts.
