Lima lived a historic weekend. More than 90,000 people packed the National Stadium during “Esperanza Lima,” the evangelistic festival headlined by Franklin Graham, and thousands more who could not get in remained in the surrounding streets to hear the message centered on Christian hope. The response was so great that the festival, planned for a single day, added a second date, with music by artists such as Charity Gayle, The Afters, Christine D’Clario and the Jahaziel Band, 600 free buses to make access easier, and the participation of more than 2,400 churches from the capital. “Thousands of lives have been transformed, and that impact will be felt for years,” celebrated Pastor Samuel Reátegui, one of the leaders involved.

Christian singer Brandon Lake closed his King of Hearts Tour with an unforgettable night in Charleston, where thousands of people responded to the altar call: many came forward to pray, renewed their faith, and declared their decision to follow Jesus, and baptisms were held that sealed those decisions. The evening included a surprise moment with the appearance of Nick Jonas, who sang “The Author” alongside Lake. What began as a concert became an experience of worship and encounter with God — one more sign of how Christian music keeps touching hearts and drawing people to Christ.

At Appalachian State University in North Carolina, more than 700 students decided to follow Jesus Christ during an evangelistic gathering organized by the UniteUS ministry, and about 100 young people were baptized after the event in a public response that drew the attention of the whole campus. Speakers Tonya Prewett and Jennie Allen shared the Gospel before a crowd gathered at the Holmes Convocation Center. The UniteUS movement, which began at Auburn in 2023, has already visited more than two dozen universities and reports more than 100,000 students reached with its events, bringing evangelism to the spaces where young people make the most important decisions of their lives.

2026 World Cup: a call to pray for the persecuted Christians behind every flag

The 2026 Soccer World Cup will bring together 48 national teams in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, but behind the festive atmosphere there is a reality the church cannot ignore: according to the 2026 World Watch List from Open Doors, 14 qualified teams come from countries where following Jesus means pressure, surveillance, or violence. In Saudi Arabia there are no public churches, in Iran converts and house churches are repressed, and in Mexico and Colombia Christian believers suffer violence from criminal groups. Open Doors invites believers to turn sports attention into intercession: behind every flag there are brothers and sisters living their faith under pressure, and every match can be a reason for prayer.

Singer Diana Vargas, vocalist of Grupo Good Family, began her path in Christian music with the single “Me levanté,” together with Dominican artist Misael J., and the start could not have been better: the song surpassed 500,000 views on YouTube in just four days and entered Spotify’s “Todas Novedades Cristianas” playlist. The song, written by Nfasis and Derick Music, stands out for its message of faith, hope, and personal overcoming. In addition, Grupo Good Family promotes the “Proyecto Good Family,” an initiative that seeks to support 50 Christian worshipers by covering their music production, video clip, and promotion expenses.
